Eastern Barrier

This fundraiser was planned and organized in response to the urgent need to defend parts of the forward line of our troops that are under intense attack by “Shaheds” and other long-range strike drones. The enemy is intensively attacking command posts, areas of troop concentration, and staging areas, with them.

A key feature of the campaign is that the Eastern Barrier operates simultaneously in two modes — defense and attack.

Defense is provided by equipping units with interceptor drones and other technical means. Our units can engage the targets by using medium-range strike UAVs against enemy equipment and logistics routes. This enables effective strikes against the enemy's logistics, equipment concentrations, and infantry.

The defense component requires the purchase of interceptor drones and vehicles to deliver them, along with the following reequipment: systems to ensure stable communication and data transmission, backup power supplies, and surveillance and target-detection equipment.

The attack component will consist entirely of strike drones and technical means for destroying enemy assets and positions at long range, the effectiveness of which has already been tested by Azov operators.

For security reasons, we do not disclose specific products, specifications, and unit names until the equipment is transferred to the units. A list of all specific products that may be disclosed will be provided in a report released after the fundraiser is complete.

AZOV.ONE is the fundraising and supply unit of the Azov Brigade, whose main task is to allocate funds provided by donors to purchase equipment and supplies needed on the battlefield.

Each purchase made is planned in advance and approved by the unit's command.

Purchases do not conflict with state budget supplies but complement them, thereby increasing efficiency and meeting the brigade's urgent needs.

Large-scale fundraising campaigns usually require a long lead time to raise the full amount, which is at odds with the situation on the front lines and the needs of combat units.

As in previous large-scale campaigns organized by AZOV.ONE, funds will be allocated for the required equipment as they are received, so that the procured equipment is transferred to the front immediately.

The dire situation on the front line does not allow us to wait too long for the completion of large fundraising campaigns, as our warfighters need the equipment right now. The necessary equipment will be purchased in batches as funds become available and transferred to the Azov Air Defense and UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) units. Each such transfer will be presented in an interim report. A list of all purchased items will be published on AZOV.ONE website and social media after the completion of the fundraiser and the purchases.
